VIRTUAL CARE
Virtual care:
A virtual (or telehealth) appointment replaces an in-person appointment in clinic. These appointments are conducted through a secure connection. Dr. Graboski's appointments are conducted through her DoxyMe. The servers for DoxyMe are located in Canada and legally you must be in Canada to take part in a virtual visit. Please ensure you have booked time away from work and other responsibilities and that you take time to ensure you have both space and privacy for a limited physical examination. Please log into your appointment 5 minutes prior to the scheduled time. Ensure your camera and microphone are on and that your camera is correctly oriented towards you. It is a good idea to log in the night prior to ensure you have the correct set-up. If you unable to connect through the telehealth platform, you will receive a telephone call from Dr. Graboski- please ensure you are in proximity to a telephone, for which we have the number, and that the volume is on. Due to technical issues, we may be running behind schedule and we apologize in advance.
Please note, that Bobbi or Lisa, our receptionists, may call prior to your appointment to update your chart and review your medications for your appointment. Please be prepared to answer blocked calls.
Missed appointments will be subject to no-show fees as with regular in-office appointments.
The following is required for virtual/telehealth appointments through Dr. Graboski’s Clinic:
-
A smart phone, iPad/tablet, laptop or desk top computer with microphones and camera - please ensure your camera and microphone are on and that your camera is facing the correct orientation.
-
Access to wifi or wired internet - please note that you using cellular data on your phone without a wifi connection often results in poor quality connection.
-
Please note, when Dr. Graboski is ringing in, you may not hear an audible ring sound - please be patient and frequently check the screen.
